| NORTH CAROLINA DIVISION VICE PRESIDENT Leanne Moore Hope everyone had a great summer and was able to stay cool! I’ve been busy with pin orders and awards. You ladies are so busy doing good for the UDC and it is wonderful to be able to recognize your efforts. The pin orders have been way behind. Due to many different reasons such as the engravers errors and summer vacation, the orders are moving very slow. I have been receiving emails from the Vice President General and have been forwarding them to your Chapter Vice Presidents. If you ordered something more than four months ago, please contact me and I will contact the Vice President General. This is the best and easiest way to find our about your order. When I receive your order, I make copies of the order and the check. Orders are only allowed to be sent on Mondays. Once the order has been mailed to the Vice President General, she checks everything for accuracy and then mails it to the engravers. All control is out of our hands once the order goes to the engravers. When the pins are ready, the engravers mail the order to the Business Office in Richmond. They check everything and mail it to you. This is a long process and because of all the places your order goes, it depends on the mail and the engravers as to how quickly your order is received I will be announcing the dates for the District Meetings soon.
