Thank you Chapter Treasurers!
You completed the per capita forms for 2008-2009 so that all General and Division
dues could be posted on time.
I expect 2009-2010 per capita forms to be available in December. They will be due to
me by Feb. 15th 2010. I encourage you to begin collecting dues from members this
fall so that you don’t have to scramble to collect at the last minute.
Former members that wish to be reinstated are always encouraged. For $40.00 a
former member can be reinstated. Please include a note with member’s name and
chapter with payment. I have the Reinstatement forms to process for General.
The Annual Financial Report for each chapter is due to me by October 31st. The time
frame is 09/01/2008 to 08/31/2009. It is mandatory that each chapter file this report
with me, the Division Treasurer, in order for our non-profit status to stay intact. The
form is available at www.hqudc.org - Information for Members.
For 2009, you must go online and complete the annual electronic notice, Form 990-N,
(e-postcard) Electronic Notice for Tax-Exempt Organizations. The due date for filing
Form 990-N is the 15th day of the fifth month after the close of the tax year. At any
time, a contribution can be made to any of our Division Funds. Chapter treasurers
typically do this on a Remittance Voucher for each chapter when per capita is paid,
but individual contributions are always welcome. The form is available from me, from
your chapter treasurer, and it is posted on our Division website, www.ncudc.org.
