| NORTH CAROLINA DIVISION RECORDING SECRETARY Emily C. Champion By the time you receive this edition of the Courier, the 2007 NC Division Minutes Book will be at the printers and near completion. I would like to thank everyone who submitted chapter reports and officer listings, committee reports and officer reports. What better way to preserve the history of our chapters and Division than through the pages of our annual Minutes Book It is an invaluable resource for all members. The Minutes Books are scheduled for distribution at the Annual District Meetings. Chapter Presidents, Chapter Registrars, Executive Committee members, Ex-Division Presidents, Honorary Division Presidents, Honorary Presidents of General and Division Committee Chairmen receive complimentary copies. However if you would like to make a contribution to the Division to help defray the cost of publishing the book, you may make a check payable to “Treasurer NC Division UDC”. All members may purchase Minutes Book(s) at $20.00 each. Please make arrangements to get your copy of the Minutes Book at your district meeting. If you cannot personally attend the meeting, ask someone in your chapter to pick the book up for you. The savings for our Division in postage is considerable. The Convention voted to reduce the cost of 2006 Minutes Books to $10.00 and 2003, 2004, and 2005 Minutes Books to $2.50. This is a great opportunity to replace a lost book or to fill in missing books in your chapter or personal libraries. |
