Sheraton Raleigh Hotel located in downtown Raleigh, our Capitol City!
Sheraton Raleigh Hotel - Located in the heart of downtown Raleigh, this hotel is at the crossroads between
historical and high-tech, bluegrass and Broadway, hushpuppies and cappuccino. From this central location, it's easy to
explore famous museums, major universities, and the Research Triangle Park, secure in the knowledge that the Sheraton
Raleigh is waiting to welcome you back in the singular style and comfort that you would expect.
Pre-Convention Tour - Thursday, Nov. 5 - "After Four Long Years" Located in Durham, The
Bennett Place State Historic Site will be the destination for the Pre-Convention tour. Beginning with a tour of Oakwood
Cemetery in Raleigh, guests will then travel to Durham to visit the Bennett Place. The Visitor's Center includes a museum,
auditorium, and gift shop. The movie "Dawn of Peace" will be shown which is the site's premiere film followed by a tour of
the Bennett House. Re-enactors will be on site for demonstration. A BBQ lunch will be catered on the grounds in the
Magazine Luncheon - Friday, Nov. 6 - "Lunch with Mary Anna Jackson (Mrs. T.J. "Stonewall")"

Men's Tour - Friday, Nov. 6 -"Take a Trip to Fayetteville" - Visit the Airborne and Special Operations
Museum as well as the Fayetteville Arsenal.
Welcome and Historical Evening - Friday, Nov. 6
Memorial Service - Sunday, Nov. 8 - This year’s Memorial’s Service will be held at the host Hotel in
the Hannover Ballrooms. Following the service, there will be a reception in the Mezzanine. A treat for this Sunday
afternoon will be a Trolley Tour “Take a Trolley” to ride thru downtown Raleigh with a stop at the NC Division
Headquarters House. Tours will be staggered at designated times. This event is FREE but you must register to attend.
Seating is limited.
Friendship Evening - Sunday, Nov. 8 - "Support the Troops" A casual, relaxing evening with a
Patriotic theme for 2015! We’ll meet together, eat together and raise funds together. Special emphasis on today’s
troops including Wounded Warriors. Please join us for this festive evening by wearing something Red, White, and Blue
and enjoy the Special Entertainment.
Post Convention Tour - Tuesday, Nov. 10 - "A Special Outing in Eastern North Carolina"
End your visit in the Tar Heel state with this educational and fun tour! A day trip down east will bring you to Kinston,
home of The CSS Neuse Civil War Interpretive Center which tells Eastern North Carolina’s Civil War story with the
Confederate ironclad as its centerpiece. Then discover NC wines at the winery that jump started the industry in North
Carolina - Duplin Winery - including a tour, tasting and food!
Hotel Information - Sheraton Raleigh Hotel, 421 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC downtown Raleigh and is
convenient to Interstate 40 and US Hwy 1. If you are a Starwood Preferred Guest, you can earn Starpoints for this
Parking - Guest parking is available in the parking garage located across the street from the hotel for $13.00 per day.
Access to the garage is from Salisbury St. and from the back of the garage on Gale St. Exit is by use of your hotel room
card. Open parking spaces are on levels 4, 5, and 6.
If you are not staying at the Sheraton Hotel, parking is available in the City of Raleigh parking garage on the corner of
Salisbury St. and Cabarrus St. located across from the hotel. There is a pay station on site to pay for the time you use.

President's Evening Banquet - Saturday, Nov. 7 - "150th Time of Remembrance" - This
evening will be a highlight as The War Between the States Sesquicentennial draws to a close.
